The Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau (SIVB) has started promoting the ‘Hapi Isles’ in Australia and New Zealand.
The SIVB Australia and New Zealand’s team attended the biggest travel EXPO in Sydney last week.
The team was overwhelmed and very busy handling genuine enquiries from large numbers of the estimated 18,000 consumers attending the EXPO.
It says, next stop on the SIVB Australia and New Zealand marketing calendar will be Brisbane on 14 February followed by New Zealand later in the month.
In Auckland, SIVB chairman, Wilson Ne’e, will meet with key travel industry contacts and local travel media in Auckland.
Officers attending the EXPO are SIVB Senior Marketing Officer, Stella Lucas and the SIVB Marketing Representative for Australia and New Zealand, Richard Hankin.
