The High Court has yesterday sentenced two men to spend the rest of their life behind bars for murder.
The two men, Allen Kaipua from Rennell Bellona Province and Gideon Bosa from North Guadalcanal were convicted last week for separate murder cases.
Mr Kaipua was convicted for the murder of another man at Rennell Bellona Province after an argument over the mining and logging industry in the Province.
Mr Rido was convicted for being part of a group that murdered another man in Simba village, North Guadalcanal 10th of November 2012.
Before they were sentenced, submissions were presented before the Court on the minimum sentences they should serve before eligible for Parole.
High Court Judge Justice Stephen Pallaras says he will consider both cases and make his recommendations to the Governor General accordingly.
