A young woman has just become the first Solomon Islander to be accepted into the elite acting school, The Australian Film and Television Academy, TAFTA.
Georgianna Lepping successfully auditioned for the founder of TAFTA John Orscik, via Skype.
Miss Lepping told an Australian entertainment magazine, Oz Mag, her dream is to become the first Pacific Island actress to win an Oscar or Golden Globe and bring the performing arts to her country.
