Strict regulations on the movement of the Miss Pacific Islands is high on the agenda for the beauty organisation’s board meeting next month.
Director of this year’s Miss Solomon, Joyce Konifilia said the board has decided to restrict the movement of the Miss Pacific Islands after the reigning Miss Pacific Islands, Miss Samoa Latafale Auva’a, opted to attend the Miss World Pageant in China instead of the Miss Pacific Islands.
Ms Konifilia said Auva’a’s decision could set a precedence for other Miss Pacific Islands beauty Queens in the future so the board will impose regulations restricting her obligations first, to the Miss Pacific Islands.
