The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology through the Environment and Conservation Division, ECD, is taking the lead role in implementing the Mataniko River Clean up.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will soon gazette the River Bank Ordinance, passed by the Honiara City Council recently. Honiara City Clerk Charles Kelly confirmed, the ordinance will be reviewed by the Attorney General before the Minister responsible will have it gazetted.
