The President of the Republic of Vanuatu, His Excellency Iolu Johnson Abbil has sent condolences to the Government and people of Solomon Islands for the loss of lives and properties during the April 3 flash floods.
A Heavy Rain Alert is in force for Temotu, Malaita, Isabel, Makira, Choiseul, and Western provinces. The Solomon Islands Meteorological Service this morning reported, a region of unstable air lies north of Solomon Islands and is linked to a Low pressure system northeast of Malaita province.
